Real Estate Services Division Organization Chart (pdf version)
The Real Estate Services Division (RESD) is one of seven divisions within the California Department of General Services (DGS). The top management positions within RESD are the Deputy Director and Assistant Deputy Director. Doug Button currently holds the position of Deputy Director. The Assistant Deputy Director postion is currently held by Joe Mugartegui who functions in an acting capacity.
There are five operational branches that report to the Deputy Director. Each branch is staffed with a Branch Chief, Assistant Branch Chiefs and other managers.
