The Asset Management Branch (AMB) serves as the initial point of contact in the Real Estate Services Division for our customers and is the single point of entry for requesting new services. AMB is also responsible for maximizing the performance of State real estate assets by identifying and implementing value enhancement solutions for unused and underutilized State-owned properties.
Building and Property Management Branch
The Building and Property Management Branch (BPM) manages state-owned buildings and properties in geographic locations where it is cost effective to do so. BPM provides building management and administration, operations, maintenance, custodial, groundskeeping, and repair services necessary to support the State´s real estate assets. The BPM Environmental Health and Safety Unit provides support services for meeting or exceeding regulatory compliance with asbestos, lead, chemical exposures, indoor air quality, hazardous waste, ergonomics, and other issues.
Business Operations, Policy and Planning BranchThe Business Operations, Policy and Planning Branch (BOPP) provides common services to the Real Estate Services Division (RESD) that are unique to those provided at the Department level. These services support the programs and critical business processes of the Division's multi-disciplinary-based operations and include, but are not limited to, contracts management, human resources, training, financial accounting and budget management, purchasing, customer billing, information systems, performance monitoring and reporting, and other operational support services.
Professional Services BranchThe Professional Services Branch (PSB) provides architectural and engineering services; space planning and interior design; leasing, sales, appraisal and acquisition services; construction and construction inspection services; energy and environmental services, and other competencies such as seismic retrofits, abestos abatement, and underground tank removal. Project Management BranchThe Project Management Branch (PMB) provides project management services for complex real estate projects. PMB manages the design and construction process on behalf of state agencies. PMB assists state agencies in developing conceptual documents for cost and budget control, programming, and site planning and master planning, as well as other documents for conceptualizing capital outlay projects that are necessary to obtain legislative authorization and funding.
